Presentation Topic: Lessons learned from Four Trenchless Wastewater Consolidation Projects - City of Houston

These projects include over 60,000 LF of trenchless pipeline construction ranging in diameter from 12-inch to 48-inch and depths to 70 feet. He will be discussing the projects and lessons learned which give insights into some of the challenges the City will be dealing with as part of the proposed wastewater treatment plant consolidation program.

The purpose of the Underground Construction Technology Association (UCTA) is to promote education; training; research and development; information concerning traditional, trenchless and rehabilitation technology; and to promote the use of these technologies. UCTA serves to advance the science and practice of installing, repairing, maintaining, and replacing utility lines, as well as related facilities through construction and rehabilitation techniques. This also includes municipal water, sewer, wastewater, gas distribution, oil/gas transmission and gathering lines, telephone, electric, and cable systems.
