    Mr. Aranda has been a part of San Antonio Water System (SAWS) since 2012, after graduating from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering. He spent the first few years focusing on the calibration and operation of the SAWS wastewater hydraulic model for Master Planning and Consent Decree purposes. He then moved to the Operations Support Engineering group, where he has focused on Asset Management, Condition Assessment, and Operational System Analysis. Mr. Aranda is currently managing the Water Distribution Risk and Condition Assessment Program for SAWS

    The Underground Construction Technology (UCT) Conference & Exhibition is held annually in January but will be held this year in July 2021. The UCTA helps to develop educational sessions and workshops for the conference and organizes networking and recognition events at the conference including the annual UCTA Most Valuable Professional Award.

    UCT is the biggest event each year for the underground infrastructure industry. About Us

The  purpose of the Underground Construction Technology Association (UCTA) is to promote education; training; research and development; information concerning traditional, trenchless and rehabilitation technology; and to promote the use of these technologies. UCTA serves to advance the science and practice of installing, repairing, maintaining, and replacing utility lines, as well as related facilities through construction and rehabilitation techniques. This also includes municipal water, sewer, wastewater, gas distribution, oil/gas transmission and gathering lines, telephone, electric, and cable systems.
